This years spring/summer weather has been craptastic to say the least. It seems EVERY weekend we are fighting some sort of horrible weather forecast. Low clouds, thunderstorms, extreme heat and extreme humidity have been plagueing us for months. But it hasn't kept us down! We've been UP! We waited for the clouds to rise, the storms to pass and took the necessary steps to combat the heat and the humidity and we've been jumping a lot! HELL YEAH we've been jumping beause that's what we do, all the time! Jumping our butts off too! Come with me on a 15 minute adventure and see just a little bit of what you've missed if you've been listening to the weather man and haven't been coming out. And if you have been out, then here's a stroll down memory lane from the past couple of months! Thank you to everyone for your support! We just keep getting better, all the time! Glidersports, where we're pretty sure that nobody has as much fun as we do! Come out and see for yourself. Glidersports.com or 855-I-FLY-NOW. Awesome footage as always.. And that drone is bad to the bone..

The weekend started early. We had a bunch of first timers scheduled on Thursday the 4th of July so we just decided to boot up early. Thursday's weather was atrocious. We sat around most of the day until at one point it was thunder storming, pouring and the winds hit 53 MPH. But you know how Missouri weather can be. As soon as the storms went through it cleared off beautiful and we hit it hard and got all the work in before dark, albeit, several hours later than expected. Thanks to everyone for their patience. Last load of the day had a surprise guest as Guisepe Shetterfly pulled up under the wing and gave everyone a great visual with an aerobatics plane in formation trailing smoke as they left the plane. EPIC! Everyone agreed, too much fun! The rest of the weekends weather was dodgy at best with several weather holds occurring as we let the low clouds go by. Then there was the excruciating heat and humidity, well outside of course, 'cause here at Glidersports it's real nice inside. We were still able to manage to keep things rolling at a decent pace and put up a bunch of loads in the air all the way through Sunday evening. Christian spent his last weekend in the US with us and we're going to miss the hell out of him and his beautiful bride. Goss got his first sub-100 jump in... he said, "I wasn't ready for that!" Evidently he thinks sub-100 is fast. hahahahaha... it is fast. 😛 Our very own, Molly made her 100th skydive over the weekend and we welcomed her to the club, again, in EPIC fashion! Congratulations girl and welcome to the club. Now you get a small break until you get 500. 😛 It sure was great to see all the visiting jumpers as well. The best part for me was when 3 separate Freefall Express Jumpers all showed up on DZ at the same time. It was like a mini family reunion for second. I wish I would have had a bit more time to visit instead of working most of the time, but with the spring/summer we've been having... I was just happy to be busy. We'll be back at it again this coming Friday. Hope to see you then! The weekend started early. We had a bunch of first timers scheduled on Thursday the 4th of July so we just decided to boot up early. What's a sub-100 jump in a TI's context, and what's freefall express?

We had a great time with you! First time skydiving for us and we loved it! Thank you!

Had a great time with you on the 4th! Thanks for all your hard work, hospitality, and a super memorable experience. We’ll be back, for sure!

I was on that jump it was amazing

What a great weekend. It actually started a bit early since we had some tandems scheduled on Thursday. Friday was a great day with a bunch of people trying to swoop the pond all day. Saturday was busy as hell. We ended up putting up 22 loads when it was all said and done. Jose made his 100th skydive. There was LOTS of girl ways going on and the boys were attempting a head down record. With temps reaching 100 degrees and more, the indoor, air conditioned packing area really shined and EVERYONE took advantage. Sunday was another hot and busy one as well. All and all we ended the weekend with about 40 loads thrown and everyone agreed that it was yet another great weekend to be a Glidersports jumper. We'll be back at it on Thursday the 4th. There's upwards of 20 tandems scheduled so the plane will be flying ALL day. Hope to see you out! What a great weekend. It actually started a bit early since we had some tandems scheduled on Thursday.
