TRAINING!
LEARN TO FLY
The reality of Flight!  That’s right, you’ve always dreamed about it and here at Glidersports, we turn those dreams into REALITY!

Flying is our passion and we are very excited to have the opportunity to share with you the awesome sport of Powered Paragliding (PPG).

A+ EQUIPMENT

Glidersports only conducts training with the highest quality equipment. Each student will be fitted for equipment as safety is our highest concern.

TOWING!

Towing is a crucial part of the Glidersports training process. Your tow flights will be conducted by a certified tow operator to ensure your first introduction to flight is safe and productive.

14 Days of Training

Our course is designed to offer a 14 days of immersive paramotor training. Our goal is that every student graduate with a PPG2 rating and the necessary skills for many years of safe flying.

SAFETY! SAFETY! SAFETY!

Student safety is of our highest concern. Upon completion of the registration process, each student will receive our proprietary training syllabus and the PPG bible to aid in the training process.

First of 5 orders for the new G4 just hit the dock! Will be updating stock on the website soon, or better yet come try them on in person at GliderSports Skydiving. We may just have to give one of these bad boys away at our labor day boogie.

All and all the weekend's weather this past weekend wasn't to bad. Each day started off with pounding rain, however, that quickly gave way to sunny skies. It also gave way to extreme heat and humidity... again. Thank god for air conditioning is all I can say. We've got plenty of that here at Glidersports. Thank god for that too. We jumped all day Friday after the initial bout of rain and then we built a huge bonfire and sat and enjoyed that until the wee hours. Sometime in the middle of the night it started raining again and was still pouring after the sun came up. If you would have asked me then I would have said we wouldn't be jumping at all. By 10a the skies had completely cleared and we were churning loads all day long. Saturday night we adjourned to the fun jumper packing area where Glidersports treated everyone to pizza and beers... again. A bunch of the girls had a crafts deal going and they made a bunch of masks for themselves for this year Labor Day Masquerade Boogie. It's sure to be a hoot! Some of those masks are pretty awesome too. Try and figure out which one is Penny's. 😛 Sunday started out a bit windy and rude but then quickly cleaned itself up and we started jumping all over again. All and all it was another pretty good weekend when it was all said and done, but just like the spring, we could do without all the rain. Hopefully next weekend will be dryer. All and all the weekend's weather this past weekend wasn't to bad. Each day started off with pounding rain, however, that quickly gave way to sunny skies. To say it was hot and humid this weekend would have been an understatement. It was STUPID HOT and even more humid than stupid humid could describe. But it really wasn't too bad, you know, because we're all air conditioned and stuff over here. 😛 I'll tell you what though, walking to the plane was horrible. We were dodging clouds most of the weekend but it wasn't that hard, at least until Sunday. Harry Andersohn made his 100th skydive Sunday morning. Then we pied the heck out of him. Congratulations Harry! Anyhow, here are a bunch of photos from some of the fun. Feel free to tag yourselves and anyone you know.
