What a great weekend! I ended up making 3 jumps myself and I'm totally wiped! So OUT OF SHAPE! Hahahaha... guess I need to jump more to not be sore. HA!The weather this weekend was OFF THE HOOK. Friday started out with the first set of tandem students sailing down the driveway until they lost control and careened into one of the fence posts totaling their car. Who drives 50mph down someone's driveway? Anyway, I think they learned their lesson. A lesson we can all learn from, PLEASE SLOW DOWN when entering our campus. We ended up capping off the evening with a huge bonfire and cookout like we pretty much do every Friday. It lasted until around 2am when the tandem students finally got a ride home. Saturday was the nicest day of the year so far out at the drop zone. It was evident by the amount of canopies in the air over Glidersports all day long. The morning started out early with all the AFF First Jump Students headed into the classroom. It was a huge class to say the least. I want to say there were 8 or 9 students. It's a good thing we built such a big classroom to teach them in. Chase held a wingsuit first flight course and Clinton and Bre were the first two students to take advantage. Both of them ended up making their first wing suit flights during the day. Congrats guys! Don't forget to bring your beer next weekend. 😛 It was a long day and went right up until dark to get the last students in the air. From there we headed back to the southern end of the landing area where we built another outrageous bonfire. Cutaway treated everyone to his famous beer brats. They were cooking all day and the aroma around the dropzone was mouth watering. They were awesome as usual and I can't wait until he does it again. Sunday started out pretty windy and just got worse throughout the day so we called ended up calling it early. See you all next weekend! Hopefully the good weather will continue. Anyhow, I'll leave you all with a few photos of some of the happenings from over the weekend to tide you over. ... See MoreSee Less
