Quality product but wow it’s pricey

It’s possible to over design something. This required part is a coupler for the carbon fiber segments that form the hoop. You need 5 of them. Multiply that by $80 each! These should be reasonable consumable items in the event of an incident. They should break before the carbon hoop segment.
